Chalk Paint®, stenciled and wax

Easily tackle any project or piece of furniture with Chalk Paint ® Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan. Completely transform, refurbish and repurpose your pieces with the simple-to-use paint. The desk was painted using Annie Sloan’s clouded stippled technique. To transform the desk we used two different colors of Chalk Paint ®, Paris Grey and Old White. We went back and forth with both colors and blended them to achieve the desired look. The top of the desk has two coats of Graphite. We used Old White with the “Springtime in Paris” stencil and a black glaze with the “Paris Postage Stamp” stencil on the top of the desk. To finish the look the entire desk was finished with clear and dark soft wax. The hardware was also chalk painted with Graphite, distressed and waxed. Saturday Workshop Fun!

 

 

 

 

Beginning Workshop Fun! We had a blast on Saturday’s workshop learning about the paint and the different textures you can create. We created three different finishes and learned about the dark and clear waxes and worked on our own pieces as well.  It was a fun day! Here are some pictures of what we were working on throughout the day, not all of the samples and pieces are completely finished.

Necklaces for a great cause

Cindi Rowley Designs is proud to carry handmade, one-of-a-kind necklaces made from Uganda. The necklaces come in all different colors and are available at Cindi Rowley Designs studio and store located off Avenue Scott. Amazima Ministries helps employ women in Uganda to give them stable employment that helps them and their families with better opportunities in a struggling, and difficult country. Workshop Time!

We have been working hard at the studio and having too much fun doing it! We recently held a beginner’s workshop and learned all about the paint and what can be done with it. The new space is really great for projects and exploring. New workshops are coming soon so don’t forget to sign up if you are interested. New Venture for Cindi Rowley Designs

In one year, my company has grown and expanded to so many wonderful and amazing heights that have led me to new and exciting experiences I cannot wait to share. I have been to New Orleans twice with Chalk Paint ® Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan and created painting workshops that have allowed beginners and advanced alike to share their creativity and explore a whole new world of painting.

I am now proud to announce that Cindi Rowley Designs has moved to its own space in Valencia and will be selling the Chalk Paint ® products, brushes, antique furniture that has been restored and amazing vintage and chic pieces to fit any home. Country Antique Fair Mall

Waiting to be filled…

I painted the space at the Country Antique Fair Mall and now it is ready to be filled with the chalk paint and fun furniture. The floor and the stencil on the floor were painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint (graphite) the stencil is painted with old white, cream and versaille. The stencil is from the Royal Design Studio Collection. It turned out great!
